The Hortonville Area Education Foundation has a primary mission to promote excellence in education through programs not typically funded by the school’s operating budget. The foundation provides grants that enrich the district’s educational programs and enhance educational opportunities for students, staff and the community. Financial support will occur primarily through commercial and private donations.
The Hortonville Area Education Foundation is a non--profit organization established in 1996 by friends and community members of the Hortonville Area School District. The all-volunteer directors work as a team to solicit contributions of funds to be invested in our school district in ways that ultimately enrich our students’ educational experiences. In addition, the Hortonville Area Education Foundation works closely with the school district personnel to provide scholarships for students seeking to further their education. Although the Foundation is relatively new, we have already provided funding for school programs in the visual arts and music and scholarships for students going on to college and technical schools. We act as stewards of generously endowed funds for programs aligned to our mission.
